In the cabinet reshuffle announced today (7th July) by prime minister Narendra Modi, Anurag Singh Thakur has been given the portfolio of Information & Broadcasting. Additionally, he has also been named as the minister of youth affairs and sports.
Anurag Singh Thakur replaces Prakash Javadekar as the I & B minister.
