Modifying one of its bail conditions, the Bombay high court on December 15 allowed Aryan Khan, son of Shah Rukh Khan, to attend the office of the special investigation team only as and when called with prior notice of 72 hours. The superstar’s son had last week moved the high court, seeking modification of the bail condition which stipulated three-hour attendance every Friday at the investigating officer’s office in the cruise drugs case.
Aryan Khan’s senior counsel, Amit Desai, told the court on 15th that with the probe now being done by a special team from Delhi, Aryan’s weekly attendance in the Bombay officer’s office should be stopped and he should be permitted to attend the Delhi SIT office in Bombay whenever asked to. The Narcotics Control Bureau counsel accepted the argument.
