Javed Akhtar’s book of poems, Tarkash, has been translated in Italian. The translation has been done by well-known writer and poet Clara Nubile. The book was released last month and has received rave reviews in Italy.
Javed Akhtar has been invited to a couple of Italian universities in the last week of October. He will also go to the University of Paris in October for a recital there. This will be Akhtar’s second round of recitals in France. The French translation was released in year 2016.
Besides Italian and French, the book has been translated in Bengali, Marathi, Kannada, Gujarati and English.
