The Haryana government has ordered cinemas in five more cities to shut down because of the growing number of COVID-19 cases. The state government had on 2nd January asked cinemas in five other cities — Gurgaon, Faridabad, Ambala, Panchkula and Sonepat — to down shutters. The cities in which cinemas have now been closed are Karnal, Panipat, Yamunanagar, Rohtak and Kurukshetra.
