Rape and murder convict Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, chief of Dera Sacha Sauda and writer, producer, director, actor, has moved the Punjab and HaryaÂna high court for a four-week suspension of his sentence to solemnise the marriÂage of his foster daughter. Gurmeet is serving life imprisonment for murdering a journalist in 2002. The court issued a notice to the CBI, seeking response on his contentions by 1st May.
