Cinemas in Gujarat have been allowed full occupancy with effect from tomorrow (1st March) owing to the decline in new Coronavirus cases. MLA Hitu Naresh Kanodia and Vandan Shah of Rupam Entertainment worked tirelessly to get the state government to agree to this relaxation. The two are now trying to get the government to grant GST relief to cinemas so that the impact of the lockdown losses can be reduced.
