Jaya Prada on 15th April hit out at senior SP leader Azam Khan and said, he had crossed his limit. She added, “Azam Khan sahab, I called you my brother, but you wished ill of me in the guise of calling me your sister. Do our brothers look at us as a dancer?” The BJP candidate from Rampur (in U.P.) also remarked that she had told Mulayam Singh that her indecent images were being circulated in Rampur and that he should save her, but no politician had tried to save her. Azam Khan had recently referred to Jaya Prada as a dancer, that too in an allegedly derogatory style.
Meanwhile, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has sent a notice to Azam Khan and has demanded an unconditional apology from him.
