In the commemorative centenary year of Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj, Vidroh Films has announced Shahu Chhatrapati (Marathi), presented by Dr. Jitendra Awhad and to be directed by Varun Sukhraj. It is based on research by Dr. Jaysingrao Pawar. The film, a biopic on Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj, will show all that the king did for upliftment of Dalits and the backward classes during the British rule.
