Singer and ex-BJP minister Babul Supriyo was inducted into Mamata Banerjee’s cabinet in West Bengal on August 3 in the second cabinet reshuffle effected by her government since re-election in 2021. Four more cabinet ministers, besides Supriyo, and three ministers of state were added by the Trinamool Congress government.
