A 30-year-old location manager working in Dharma Productions had a narrow escape after a stray air gun pellet hit him on his right rib while he was doing yoga at the Posha Nakhwa Garden at Andheri (West) in Bombay on the morning of 6th August. Om Yadav suffered skin lacerations and bled from the injury. Children playing in the park brought the bleeding to his notice as he hadn’t even realised that he was hit by a pellet.
An FIR was registered against one Manoj Malkhani who claimed that it was unintentional as he had shot at the trees to scare away the birds. The air gun was seized by the police.
