No less than the Prime Minister of India complimented Rajshri Productions on 29th August on the completion of 75 years in the media and entertainment industry. PM Narendra Modi wrote a letter to Kamal Kumar Barjatya, lauding the contribution of the Barjatya family to the film industry and to society.
Rajshri Productions completed 75 years on 15th August, 2022, the same day on which India celebrated 75 years of freedom. The letter said, “Guided by the vision of your father, Shri Tarachand Barjatya, Rajshri Productions has entertained many generations of audiences across different media, be it cinema, television or music, while showcasing the beauty of Indian culture and values. Shri Sooraj Barjatya has also continued in the same vein, creating some memorable works of entertainment.”
Uunchai, directed by Sooraj Barjatya, will be Rajshri Productions’ 60th film in 75 years.
