Playback singer Suman Kalyanpur was conferred the Padma Bhushan by President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi on March 22. Late billionaire investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, who sometimes dabbled into film production as a co-producer, was conferred the Padma Shri. His widow, Rekha, received the award.Jhunjhunwala passed away on August 14 last year due to multiple organ failure.
