Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One (dubbed and the original English versions) was off to a flying start in spite of an odd-day release. It netted Rs. 12.27 core on Wednesday (July 12). Collections dropped on Thursday to Rs. 9.82 crore. Therefore, the two-day total was a fantastic Rs. 22.09 crore.
Insidious: The Red Door (dubbed and the original English versions) did fairly well in the first week. It netted Rs. 2.10 crore on Thursday (July 6). Collections on Friday went down to Rs. 1.98 crore but they picked up again on Saturday which closed at Rs. 3.44 crore. The Sunday total of Rs. 3.29 crore saw the 4-day weekend total going up to Rs. 10.81 crore. Collections for the weekdays were: Monday – Rs. 1.09 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 1.06 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 0.52 crore, Thursday – Rs. 0.49 crore. With the total for the weekdays being Rs. 3.16 crore, the first 8-day week closed at Rs. 13.97 crore.

Satyaprem Ki Katha faced a steep decline in the second week. Collections were okay in the weekend but dropped during the weekdays. It netted Rs. 13 crore in the second weekend while the net total for the weekdays was Rs. 6 crore. In this way, the film netted Rs. 19 crore in 2nd week. Grand total for 2 weeks: Rs. 70.25 crore.
Indiana Jones And the Dial Of Destiny (dubbed and the original English versions) dropped badly in 2nd week. The second weekend commenced on a weak note with a net collection of Rs. 0.18 crore on Friday. Collections on Saturday and Sunday increased to Rs. 0.38 crore and Rs. 0.40 crore respectively, taking the total for the second weekend to Rs. 0.96 crore. Collections for the weekdays were rather miserable: Monday – Rs. 0.07 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 0.07 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 0.05 crore, Thursday – Rs. 0.04 crore. Hence the total for the weekdays was only Rs. 0.23 crore. Total for 2nd week: Rs. 1.19 crore. Grand total for 2 weeks: Rs. 8.99 crore.
1920: Horrors Of The Heart was steady on low collections in 3rd week. It netted Rs. 1.38 crore (Hindi version) in the third week, taking its 3-week total to Rs. 13.02 crore. The Tamil dubbed and Telugu dubbed versions collected Rs. 0.30 crore in 3rd week, taking their 3-week total to Rs. 4.71 crore. Grand total of all the versions for 3 weeks: Rs. 17.73 crore.
Aathvani (Marathi) could not do anything substantive in the first week in Maharashtra.
Baipan Bhari Deva (Marathi) took a 100% jump in collections for the second week, smashing a number of records. The film had fared excellently in the first week itself. The second weekend started with a take of Rs. 2.31 crore on Friday. Collections more than doubled to Rs. 5.28 crore on Saturday. The Sunday total was an unbelievable Rs. 6.10 crore — the highest one-day figure in the history of Marathi cinema! In this way, the second weekend’s total was Rs. 13.69 crore!! Collections for each of the weekdays was better than the collections of any single day (except Sunday) of the first week. It netted Rs. 2.79 crore on Monday, Rs. 2.88 crore on Tuesday, Rs. 2.70 crore on Wednesday, and Rs. 2.79 crore on Thursday. Therefore, the total for the weekdays was Rs. 11.16 crore. Hence the total for 2nd week was an astounding Rs. 24.85 crore! Grand total for 2 weeks: Rs. 37.35 crore.
Carry On Jatta 3 (Punjabi) swept the Punjabi box-office in its second week too. It started its second weekend with a net collection of Rs. 1.20 crore (Rs. 1.05 crore in East Punjab, Rs. 0.15 crore in the rest of India) on Friday. Collections on Saturday increased to Rs. 2.05 crore (East Punjab Rs. 1.90 crore, rest of India Rs. 0.15 crore). Collections increased even more on Sunday so that the day closed at Rs. 2.74 crore (East Punjab Rs. 2.64 crore, rest of India Rs. 0.10 crore). Therefore, the total for the second weekend was Rs. 5.99 crore (East Punjab Rs. 5.59 crore, rest of India Rs. 0.40 crore). Collections for the weekdays were as follows: Monday – Rs. 0.64 crore (East Punjab Rs. 0.58 crore, rest of India Rs. 0.06 crore), Tuesday – Rs. 0.65 crore (East Punjab Rs. 0.60 crore, rest of India Rs. 0.05 crore), Wednesday – Rs. 0.54 crore (East Punjab Rs. 0.50 crore, rest of India Rs. 0.04 crore), Thursday – Rs. 0.50 crore (East Punjab Rs. 0.47 crore, rest of India Rs. 0.03 crore). Hence the total for the weekdays was Rs 2.33 crore (East Punjab Rs. 2.15 crore, rest of India Rs. 0.18 crore). In this way, the 2nd week’s total was Rs. 8.32 crore (East Punjab Rs. 7.74 crore, rest of India Rs. 0.58 crore). Grand total for 2 weeks: Rs. 36.44 crore (East Punjab Rs. 28.98 crore, rest of India Rs. 7.46 crore).
