IMPPA president Abhay Kumar Sinha and FMC general secretary Nishant Ujjwal met Bihar deputy chief minister Samrat Choudhary on 1st February to discuss issues related to the film industry with particular emphasis on evolving a structured framework at his government’s level for film producers. Granting of subsidies, single-window clearance and making available facilities for shooting in the state were discussed.
Choudhary exhibited a positive outlook and said that he would do everything possible to formulate a film policy in the state. He added that his government would try to offer subsidy to films made in any language.
