The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on 10th December arrested celebrity hairstylist Suraj Godambe while he was allegedly buying 11 gms. of cocaine from an autorickshaw driver at Oshiwara in Bombay. The autorickshaw driver was also arrested. Suraj is the son of celebrated and celebrity make-up artistes Bharat and Dorris.
The NCB also seized Rs. 56,000 from Godambe and is quizzing him to find out if he is into peddling drugs or was buying them for his own use. Suraj was booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and was remanded to the NCB custody till December 16 by the Esplanade metropolitan magistrate court in Bombay.
