The inevitable has happened. Cinemas in the nerve centre of Bollywood — Bombay — have been ordered to close down from tomorrow (14th March) in view of the Covid-19 scare. Not just in Bombay, cinemas in Thane district, Pune and Nagpur will also remain shut till 31st March.
The Maharashtra government directive on shutting down public places comes in the wake of similar orders passed by the governments of Delhi, Kerala, Jammu, Bihar, Orissa and Karnataka.
