Eros, one of the landmark cinemas of Bombay, reopened on Republic Day after refurbishment and renovation, with Fighter. The single-screen cinema, which also housed a mini theatre for previews, had shut down in 2017 due to declining business following competition from multiplexes.
The owners of Metro cinema in Bombay undertook the refurbishment work from the owners.
