Veteran publicist B.K. Verma passed away yesterday (June 30) in Bombay due to COVID-19. He was 77. He is survived by his wife and a daughter. He had suffered a brain stroke in 2019 after which he never really recovered completely.
Brijkumar Verma used to be a busy publicist from the 1960s to the 1990s. In the late 1990s, he handled the publicity work of some old-time producers. He retired once the young breed took over film promotion. He was very close to Dara Singh.
