The vice-chancellor of Kerala University has reportedly denied actress Sunny Leone permission to perform a dance show on the campus of the University College of Engineering in Thiruvananthapuram on July 5. University vice-chancellor Dr. Mohanan Kunnummal instructed the registrar to ensure that the college university did not include Leone’s show in the programme list, fearing a stampede because of her immense popularity among students.
According to a report, in November last year, four students died and over 60 were injured in a stampede-like situation at a concert in a college in Ernakulam district.
