The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has directed Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. to convene a meeting of its shareholders to get approval for its proposed merger with Culver Max Entertainment (formally Sony Pictures Network). According to Zee, the Bombay bench of the NCLT had on August 24 passed an order to direct Zee to call a meeting of its equity shareholders to consider the merger.
