A drunk man was allegedly hit by a car driven by actor Rajat Bedi at Andheri in Bombay on 6th September evening. The injured man is recuperating at Cooper Hospital.
Rajesh Boudh (40) was in an inebriated condition and he suddenly seemed to come in the middle of the road in front of the car from nowhere when the car was close to the D.N. Nagar Metro station. Bedi tried to apply the brakes but the car hit Boudh before that. Although a case of traffic accident will be filed against Rajat Bedi, he was not arrested. Rajat rushed the injured man to Cooper Hospital and then returned to the D.N. Nagar police station and narrated the incident.
