Even before its release or, for that matter, even while it is still being shot, S.S. Rajamouli’s multi-lingual RRR is on a record-breaking spree. It has shattered the pre-release business of Bahubali 2: The Conclusion, that too, by a huge margin.
The Andhra-Telangana rights have been sold for Rs. 215 crore while the Karnataka rights have gone for Rs. 50 crore. The film’s Overseas rights have fetched Rs. 70 crore. With Rs. 335 crore already in its kitty, it can safely be predicted that the film will have generated revenue of more than Rs. 400 crore before release, from Southern India and Overseas alone. NTR Jr., Ram Charan and Ajay Devgan have reason to rejoice.
RRR is slated for release on 8th January, 2021.
