Sonu Sood has filed an appeal in the Bombay high court against a city civil court order of December 2020, which dismissed his challenge of a notice issued by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). The BMC had, on October 2020, issued the actor a notice for demolition of his residential building at Juhu (Bombay) after he made allegedly illegal structural changes. According to Sonu, the BMC had issued him the notice with malafide intention and hence it was a nullity. He said that he had not made any changes which warranted BMC permission.
