‘BROKEN HARMONY’ REVIEW | 17 April, 2026

Released last week in Bombay and East Punjab, Vega Films’ Broken Harmony (UA) is the story of a couple in pursuit of a dream life. The pursuit leads them to a mysterious location harbouring dark secrets. Their journey unfolds through themes of love and betrayal within a paranormal framework.

The story is not very exciting. Ashish Saxena’s screenplay is no better than the dull story. The pace is slow and the drama is boring. Therefore, nothing really engages the audience. Even Ashish Saxena’s dialogues are weak.

Sushant Saxena does an average job. Annie Sekhon is dull. Catherine Coker barely passes muster. Arun Bali is okay. Manoj Bakshi makes his presence felt. Anup Jalota is alright. Tina Ghai has her moments. Banavari Jhol is passable.

Ashish Saxena’s direction is poor. Akshay Raju Saxena’s music, and Mala Govind Saxena’s lyrics are functional. Background music is below the mark. Jitender Virk and J.P. Kanswal’s camerawork is dull. Raju Saxena’s production designing is ordinary. Sumit Dua’s editing leaves a lot to be desired.

On the whole, Broken Harmony is a disaster.
