Released last week in East Punjab, Yash Babu Entertainment and Kiran Verma Production’s Forty Plus is a dull show all the way. Rajinder Verma’s direction is as silly as his script. Performances by the artistes – Monika Singh, Hansi Parmar, Sunita Dabar, Sukhi Randhawa, Anu Bhatia, Renu Prashar, Preeti, Bipin Procha, Monika Chowdhury and baby Myra – are weak.
The film is dull in all the departments. Vishal Shelke’s music is poor. Lyrics (by Anamika Gaur and Ghulam Mohd. Khavar) are nothing to shout about. Vicky’s choreography is pathetic. Camerawork (by Harpal Gill, Prithvi Gill and Md. Badroodin) is commonplace. Parminder Virdi and Nidhi Marwaha’s editing is loose.
