ADR Media’s Jeena Dil Se (UA) is the story of a group of friends whose lives turn upside down after misunderstandings create non-stop chaos. Amidst romance, friendship, music and fun, they discover that life is best lived happily and fearlessly.
Sanjay Prajapati’s story offers nothing new for the viewers to take home except, perhaps, what they already know. Anuj Kumar and Kiran Sharma’s screenplay is dull and often goes nowhere. The drama, therefore, becomes boring, more so because the roles are played by actors who lack star value. Sanjay Prajapati’s dialogues are routine.
Ruma Sharma does an average job. Lakshya Handa is ordinary. Mehak Jain is so-so. Kunal Chhabra passes muster. Yash Purohit is okay. Deeksha Suryawanshi is below average. Priyanka Modgill hardly impresses. Shivani Wazir barely passes muster. Abhishek Singh Rajput performs routinely. Muskaan Varshney lends average support. Teji Singh is not up to the mark. Kanchan Singh hardly leaves an impression. Kiara Diwan delivers a dull performance. Shradha Joshi is weak. Kriti Verma does nothing to stand out. Viraaj (Kushagra Singh) is dull.
Adhish Rana’s direction is far from being impressive. Music (Prashant Ingole, Rahul Jain and Vishal-Akash) is ordinary. Lyrics (Amardeep, Prashant Ingole, Kunaal Verma and Arafat Mehmood) are quite alright. Diksha Nagpal’s song picturisations are dull. Swapnil Chowdary’s background music is not impactful. Karan Bhalerao and Dharmesh Goti’s cinematography is weak. Kuldeep Jatwa’s production designing is of an ordinary standard. Gul Ansari’s editing leaves a lot to be desired.
On the whole, Jeena Dil Se is a flop show right from the word ‘go’.
Released on 29-5-’26 at PVR Lower Parel (daily 1 show) and other cinemas of Bombay thru Red Eye Studios. Publicity & opening: weak. …….Also released all over. Opening was poor everywhere.
