PVR Inox on 1st August announced the opening of its largest multiplex in Ahmedabad at the Phoenix Palladium Mall. With this, Gujarat gets its first luxury cinema with IMAX and LUXE formats. The new multiplex has nine screens. It has a total seating capacity of 1,283. The cinema has 3D screens, Dolby 7.1 audio and 4K laser projection.
PVR Inox now has 36 screens spread across six properties in Ahmedabad. The cinema and screen count in Gujarat have gone up to 28 and 134 respectively.
