KANGANA RANAUT SELLS CONTROVERSIAL ROW HOUSE | 10 September, 2024

Kangana Ranaut has sold off her row house, which was partly demolished by the BMC four years ago. The ground-plus-three-storey building on Nargis Dutt Road at Bandra in Bombay has been bought by Kamalini Holdings, reportedly for Rs. 32 crore. Kangana had paid Rs. 20 crore for the house when she purchased it in 2017.

The property admeasured 3,075 sq. ft. and had one parking slot. The sale agreement was registered last week. It is believed that the stamp duty paid by the buyer was a whopping Rs. 1.90 crore.

In September 2020, during the COVID-19 lockdown, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation had issued the actress a 24-hour notice for alleged illegal alterations and construction after she renovated the bungalow. It then sent bulldozers to raze the altered structure. Kangana had rushed to the high court which set aside the BMC’s demolition order and asked it to compensate her.
