Kannada film actress Shobhitha Shivanna allegedly committed suicide at her flat in Hyderabad today (1st December). The actress, who had gotten married in 2023, had been living in Hyderabad since almost two years. The reason for her suicide is not known. She was 30.
She was found hanging from the ceiling. Her body was sent to the Osmania Hospital mortuary for post-mortem.
Shobhitha began her acting journey with the 2015 Kannada film RangiTaranga. The movie was a commercial hit and also won critical acclaim. Following her successful debut, she starred in several successful Kannada films such as U-Turn, K.G.F.: Chapter 1Â and its sequel, K.G.F.: Chapter 2. She had also acted in several Kannada television serials.
