The months of December 2019 and January 2020 have a lot of excitement packed in for the audiences. There are at least four films slated for release in the last month of this year and the first month of next year, which are carrying fantastic reports.
It was only expected that Dabangg 3, starring Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha, would be carrying extraordinary under-production reports. Music and comedy are said to be the film’s high points, besides Salman Khan, of course. Additionally, the film stars Kichcha Sudeep, the superstar of Kannada cinema, and those who’ve seen the film swear, he will have the audience raving about his performance. The Prabhu Deva directorial venture will release on 20th December.
A week after Dabangg 3 will come Good News. The story about two married couples going in for IVF babies is designed as a comedy and it will have the public in splits, say trade reports. Additionally, it has a dash of absolutely tear-jerking emotions in the end. Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani are the four stars who play the prospective parents first and parents later, in the film being directed by Raj Mehta for producers Karan Johar and Akshay himself. Raj Mehta was assistant to Shashank Khaitan and Shakun Batra before he turned independent director with this film. The earlier outing of Akshay and Karan together was Kesari which touched the Rs. 150-crore mark in India, making it Akshay’s highest-grossing film till then. The record is now all set to be broken by Mission Mangal. If Good News (due for release on 27th December) does go down as well with the paying public as is expected, the year will end with great news, not just Good News.
The new year’s excitement may start with Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, starring Ajay Devgan and directed by Om Raut. Insiders say, the action scenes in the film are to die for. It is also believed that the film, slated for release on 10th January, will be very high on the patriotic flavour.
Two weeks after Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior will come Street Dancer 3D. Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor are said to have surpassed themselves in this film to such an extent that their earlier film, ABCD 2, of which Street Dancer 3D is a sequel, may start to look like a trailer. The dances and the grandeur of the film, being directed by Remo D’Souza, are said to be the film’s mainstay. In short, it has all that it takes for a film to dance its way into your hearts.
