Star secretary N.S. Kabir passed away in Bombay on 1st October at 2.30 a.m. in Bombay. He was 86 years old. He used to work as Sharmila Tagore’s secretary. He had also produced two films, Tyaag and Badnam Farishte. He started out as a child actor and worked in films like Bhagat Kabir, Anmol Ghadi and many more. He later worked in the production department of Mughal-E-Azam.
He was married to Sabiha, sister of Raza Murad. He is survived by his son, Farooque Kabir who had directed Allah Ke Bande, and daughter, Sanober Kabir who was the leading lady of Mother 98.
