SACHIN’S AWARD TROPHIES STOLEN, SOLD IN SCRAP | 4 October, 2019

Actor Sachin Pilgaonkar on 3rd October lodged a complaint at Santacruz (Bombay) police station for theft of 10 trophies he had won over the years. It turned out that his house help of 15 years, Amrut Solanki, had sold the trophies in scrap for Rs. 300 per trophy.

The theft came to light when Sachin visited his residence-turned-office at Juhu and found several of his awards missing. Solanki initially dilly-dallied but ultimately admitted to the crime.

The police are collecting information on the scrap dealer to whom the trophies were sold.
