The Khar (Bombay) police on March 30 registered an FIR against a man for allegedly duping actress Rimi Sen of Rs. 4.40 crore. Ronak Jatin allegedly offered the actress high returns if she invested in his new company which dealt in LED lights.
Rimi complained to the police that she met Jatin in 2019 at a gymnasium, and became friends with him. After they became friendly with each other, he offered her 40% returns on her investment if she invested in his company. Rimi invested Rs. 4.40 crore in the company but she smelt a rat when he ignored her calls to seek return of her money. She later checked and found that Jatin had never started any company.
