Film Information had an occasion to see the trailer of Ekta Kapoor’s Dream Girl 2 today. The trailer is so funny that a huge initial for the film is assured on 25th August. Writer-director Raj Shaandilyaa seems to have excelled himself in the Dream Girl sequel. The trailer has plenty of one-liners which should make the viewers laugh out loud. That the film has repeat value is borne out by the fact that you laugh out loud even when you watch the trailer for the second time.
The array of actors is an added advantage, especially because every actor is a performer. In a comedy, an actor with an incorrect sense of timing can go horrendously wrong but that doesn’t happen in the comedy scenes here because all the actors have put their best foot forward.
Ayushmann Khurrana needs a success, and the industry needs people to return to the cinemas in large numbers. Both, the industry and Ayushmann, are in for a very pleasant surprise on 25th August!
