The Delhi police has detained a suspect from Bihar in connection with the deepfake video of actress Rashmika Mandana, which went viral recently. The cyber cell of the Delhi police had registered a case in connection with the video last week after the Delhi Commission of Women issued a notice to the police on November 10 and sought a copy of the FIR and action taken report. A case under relevant sections of the IPC and the IT Acts had been registered.
