Actor Asif Basra died at Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh this morning (12th November). He was 53 and was found hanging. The police are investigating the alleged suicide. They have taken possession of the dead body. A forensic team is also working on the case. No suicide note has been recovered.
Asif was a fine actor and had worked in a number of films including Parzania, Black Friday, Kai Po Che!, Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai, Jab We Met, Krrish 3, Ek Villain, Freaky Ali, Kaalakaandi, Hichki, The Tashkent Files and several others. He also acted in web series Paatal Lok, Woh and Hostages. He was also seen in Hollywood film Outsourced. Asif was also seen in a Tamil film, a Himachali film and Gujarati film Wrong Side Raju.
