The Goregaon (Bombay) police on 25th June registered a case of cheating against television actor Karan Mehra for allegedly withdrawing Rs. 1 crore from the bank account of his actress-wife, Nisha Rawal. The FIR was registered against Karan and two of his family members on a complaint filed by Nisha.
The Goregaon police had arrested Karan on 31st May after Nisha complained that he had assaulted her during a fight. He was later released on bail. The two have been married for eight years and they have a four-year-old son. This is the second time Nisha has filed a police complaint against her actor-husband.
