Released last week in East Punjab, Pritam Film Production’s Jai Bheem (animation) is a biography based on the life of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar who was the chief architect of the Constitution of India and a champion for emancipation of the depressed classes.
The film has an interesting story but it moves at a very slow pace. In that sense, Satnam Chana’s story and screenplay don’t consistently hold the audience’s attention. Chana’s dialogues are okay.
Jassi Chana’s direction is average. Music (Param Aagaaz) is okay. Vishal Sharma’s art direction is alright. Editing ought to have been sharper. Animation is ordinary.
On the whole, Jai Bheem is an average fare.
