‘TWELVE HOURS’ REVIEW | 1 September, 2023

Civility Film Entertainment’s Twelve Hours (UA) is a mystery film.

A big businessman suddenly goes missing. Is he just missing or has he been murdered?

S. Pyarelal has written a dull story which is devoid of excitement or thrill. S. Pyarelal’s screenplay is also rather dull and often predictable. Dialogues are nothing to shout about.

Shiv Kikod is ordinary. Sanjivan Mhatre hardly impresses. Inder Singh Khaira passes muster. Leena Bokefode is so-so. Nitin Salve, Dev Waghmare and Arun Nalawade lend decent support.

S. Pyarelal’s direction is weak. Tuhin Bishwas’ music hardly deserves mention. Lyrics (Anil Ahire and Sheela Jha) are functional. Seema Karan’s choreography barely passes muster. Pawan Sahu’s camerawork is dull. Iqbal Suleman’s action and stunt scenes are routine. Raj Gohil’s art direction is below the mark. Deelip Prasad’s editing is loose.

On the whole, Twelve Hours is a poor show all the way.

Released on 1-9-’23 at Maxus Andheri (daily 1 show) and other cinemas of Bombay thru Pioneer Enterprises. Publicity & opening: poor. …….Also released all over.
