Sunny Deol escaped unhurt when a tyre of his SUV burst near Sohal village on the Amritsar-Pathankot highway on 13th May. The actor-turned-politician was on his way to attend a rally when the tyre of his car burst, leading to a crash betÂween two other cars in the convoy. No one was injured. Sunny is the BJP nomiÂnee for the Lok Sabha elections, from Gurdaspur in Punjab.
