Released last week in U.P. (at Bahraich), Uni Player Films’ Money Tantra (UA) is the story of a computer hacker.
Jayant is a computer hacker who is after a mysterious hard drive that contains sensitive financial data which could shake the nation’s economy. As Jayant delves deeper into the digital underworld, he gets sucked into a web in which danger looms large. He must now race against time to get to the bottom of the problem, uncover the truth and protect the country’s financial stability.
Anshuman Rawat has written a story which has very limited appeal because it is too technical. His screenplay is engaging in parts only. Dialogues are dull.
Performances are below the mark. Shailendra Kumar is average. Simran Awasthi is ordinary. Vijay Mishra is not too impressive. Ravi Gupta, Ankita Tripathi, Veda Rakesh and Rajveer Gaur pass muster.
Anshuman Rawat’s direction is weak. S. Vikas’ music and lyrics are hardly appealing. Devendu Ranjan’s background music is dull. Inder Kumar’s cinematography is functional. Ravi Gupta’s production designing is nothing to shout about. Editing (by Anshuman Rawat) is loose.
On the whole, Money Tantra is a flop show.
It collected Rs. 10,131/- in the first week.
