ATS Square’s Pankh Hote To Udd Jate (UA) is the story of four college friends. The friends rescue a woman from drowning in a river. However, the aftermath is a horrific act by some of them, which sets off a chain of guilt and fear among them. The rescued woman is later found dead. More mysterious deaths follow. What is the truth?
Shiva Tripathi’s story is dull and the same is true about Dileep Mishra’s screenplay. As a result, the drama becomes boring and often predictable. Nothing really keeps the viewers engaged or entertained. Dileep Mishra’s dialogues are routine.
Sudesh Berry does a fair job as K.B. Nautiyal. Shahbaz Khan is ordinary as Vishwajeet Bajaj. Avtar Gill passes muster as Joshi. Gauri Shankar is so-so as Kaiptan. Arman Malik is ordinary in the role of Jack. Pallavi Debnath hardly impresses as Asita. Sania Singh does an average job as Julie. Pulkit Raizada lends routine support as Sumit. Sonam Saini is weak in the role of Parul Bajaj. Tanuja Diwan passes muster as Jasmine. Jaspreet Kaur Pruthi, Nishant Tanwar, Vipin Singh, Sejuti Tarafdar and the others are barely passable.
Shiva Tripathi’s direction is poor. Kalyan Bardhan’s music, and Bunty Huda’s lyrics are functional. Sunil Thakur’s choreography hardly deserves mention. Background music is below the mark. Ranvijay Kalyani Singh’s camerawork is dull. Vijay Bahadur Yadav’s art direction is nothing to shout about. Harihar Singh’s editing is loose.
On the whole, Pankh Hote To Udd Jate is a flop show.
Released on 1-5-’26 at Maxus Andheri (daily 1 show) of Bombay by ATS Square. Publicity & opening: poor. …….Also released all over. Opening was dull everywhere.
