Priyanka Chopra must wear this as a badge of honour. That antagonistic neighbour of ours has asked the UNICEF to dump Priyanka as goodwill ambassador, after accusing her of supporting India’s position on Kashmir. As Pakistan is left with little else but to accuse others of what it has been duplicitously doing since decades, its statements don’t find acceptance anywhere in the world except, possibly, with its domestic audience. So, Priyanka’s position in the UNICEF is not threatened, and her credentials within India have become more elevated. Unfortunately for Pakistan, Priyanka is intelligent and articulate and can tick off her adversaries in style. Pakistan, on the other hand, can continue issuing statements that no one takes seriously. It is a no-brainer that Pakistan has lost credibility in the world while Priyanka, as usual, is the lovely flavour of the season.
