Qube Cinema will unveil Epiq, its Premium Large Format screen which is touted as the first of its kind by an Indian brand. The V Epiq Theatre – home of the largest screen in South Asia – will be launched on August 29 with a show of Saaho for select guests.
Epiq brings back the grandeur of the big screen through cutting-edge technology with high-end laser projection, Dolby Atmos immersive audio, and a flat (1.89) aspect ratio with wall-to-wall 100-feet wide screen, all within a plush ambience and stadium seating in which every seat is optimised for a unique experience. Qube claims that watching a film Epiq-style is akin to feeling as if one is within the film itself, entering a hyper-realistic world of fine details, exquisite sound quality and mesmerising visuals. The company feels, Epiq will change the way in which India understands movie theatres, enhancing audience experience as well as influencing film production itself.
Sujeeth Reddy, director of Saaho, cinematographer R. Madhi, and co-founders of Qube, Jayendra Panchapakesan and Senthil Kumar, will be present.
