Madhur Bhandarkar was the first film celebrity to meet Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath with reference to the massive Film City he is planning to build in the state. After Bhandarkar’s meeting on 20th September, other film people met the chief minister at his residence in Lucknow on 22nd to discuss the NOIDA Film City project. Subhash Ghai, Soundarya, Rajinikanth, Ashoke Pandit, Udit Narayan and Kailash Kher were those who were invited and who accepted the invitation. Anupam Kher, David Dhawan, Neeraj Pandey, Raveena Tandon, Paresh Rawal, Satish Kaushik, Raaj Shandilya and Vivek Agnihotri joined the meeting virtually.
