The Cannes Film Festival, which was to be held in May, has been postponed to July with a view to hopefully having an in-person event. The festival authorities announced on 27th that the festival will now take place from July 6 to 17, two months after its usual date. The festival had to be cancelled last year because of the worldwide pandemic lockdown.
