MAN HELD FOR THEFT AT KISHORE KUMAR’S HOME | 20 March, 2021

A 24-year-old domestic help at the bungalow of late legendary singer Kishore Kumar’s grand-daughter was arrested at Banda railway station in Uttar Pradesh as he alighted the Tulsi Express on March 17. The theft case against Harnarayan Yadav (Lala) was registered on March 16. Yadav was produced before the railway court which granted him bail.

Harnarayan Yadav allegedly stole items worth Rs. 2 lakh, including a ceiling fan, water pump, a mixer grinder, home theatre and a music system on March 16 from the bungalow at Santacruz in Bombay. He escaped to his home town the same day after stuffing the stolen items in 12 bags. The theft was noticed by the singer’s grand-daughter, Vrinda Ganguly.
