Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone will play the lead roles in Athena and Warner Bros. Pictures (India)’s remake of the Hollywood film The Intern. It will be directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma for producers Sunir Kheterpal and Deepika Padukone. The original was written and directed by Nancy Meyers. The adapted screenplay and dialogues are being penned by Akshat Ghildial and Mitesh Shah. Co-producers: Aleya Sen, Hemant Bhandari, Amit Ravindernath Sharma and Gaurav Bose.
