Dreamspark Movies and Vijay Arts’ Bekhudi (UA) is the story of a rich boy, Abhishek Oberoi (Adhyayan Suman), who falls in love with a girl, Sanya (Angel), who has a dark past. But that’s just the beginning. What happens when different people have different incidents to narrate to Abhishek about Sanya?
Amit Kasaria’s story and screenplay aren’t very convincing. Furthermore, they lack the entertainment quotient which the audience looks for in a film. In that sense, the drama fails to involve the viewers. Of course, there are turns and twists, but they don’t add up to make a wholesome and engrossing drama. Kasaria’s dialogues are ordinary.
Adhyayan Suman fails to impress. His acting is dull. Angel is also just about passable. Dev Sharma (as Robot), Gulki Joshi (as Neha), Yuri Suri (as Anand Oberoi), Anurag Sharma and Divya Seth lend the desired support.
Amit Kasaria’s direction is below the mark. Music (Swaransh Mishra, Amit Kasaria and Rahul Nair) and lyrics (by Swaransh Mishra, Amit Kasaria and Rajesh Dheeraj) are appealing. Adil Shaikh’s choreography is okay. Atif Afzal’s background music adds little to the drama. Camerawork (by Sunita Radia) is alright. Ravi Kumar’s action and stunt scenes are average. Production designing (Shekhar) is fair. Protim Khaound’s editing leaves something to be desired.
On the whole, Bekhudi is a flop show and will go largely unnoticed.
