Leading Malayalam film producer Joseph Abraham passed away today (14th April) in Kottayam. He was 74 and had been suffering from cancer. His funeral will be held on 16th.
Joseph, who was also known as Jose Prakattu, had produced such blockbusters as Olangal, Yaathra, Oomakuyil and Koodanayum Kattu under his banner, Prakkatu Films. In the 1970s, he had won the title of Mr. Kottayam.
